That smell is coming from the Big East coaches who just shit themselves! St Johns basketball is back. Thanks for cleaning it up Norm and paving the way for Lavin to come in and put the hammer down

actually marco is 100% right. even though i felt the team could and should have been better. coach roberts was a neccesity( i know i spelled it wrong) he was a needed tool too not patch but cement things up

You smell soiled diapers, huh, Baldi?  LOL  As, much as I got tired of Norm and his excuses....  I feel what we've endured, as fans, over the past several seasons should make us more appreciative (I know I am) on a day like today. 

I have a hunch those diapers will get heavier over the next couple of months.

Marillac wanted to do a split on Beasts face! Its all good. Im just trying to figure out which coach is sweating the most right about now?

I definitrly think its calhoun and boeheim. They want to retire in a few years on top, not once uconn and cuse have been replaced by st johns as the premier northeastern bball school.

In a not so serious answer, no matter what the situation, Gary Williams is always the coach sweating the most.

I saw the quote that Nate Blue said others will be coming in the next couple weeks. Any guesses who?

Nate is probably speaking of local kids.  I'm thinking Sledge may be next.  Tharpe is also likely.  I wonder if he and Harkless talked about playing together when they were on campus for the open gym.

I guarantee Sledge won't be coming to St. John's because St. John's will be getting more talented guys. This is no slight to Sledge because I love his style of play but from what I heard today the staff is very confident with a number of players to commit very soon (no I can't elaborate yet). Also what I heard isn't based off what Nate Blue said either an additional source.

I didnt think he would be a starter but could be the athlete off the bench needed. But I was just guessing so I'll take your word for it

Norm wasn't great wasn't even good, but he did his best. Sure I would have won more the last few years. But lets not bash Norm. He set us up for this season (which I am not giving away). I view Norm much closer to Buck Showalter then Tyrone Willingham. But we are BACK!!!! 6 seed or better.

Not all your guys u bring in will be 5 star, or 4 star even. You need guys for insurance and practice. You need guys  to push your very good players in practice. Sledge just might come. One thing I give Lavin, he is no dummy and has a plan. Let him rock.

Boeheim only took Mookie Jones, so I doubt he's too worried. He gets his players from all over.

I also think some of the ACC schools that have been stealing are no longer going to get players so easily.

The staff isn't gonna use all of the allotted scholarships for 2011 unless they get on a serious roll.  'Serious roll' being they are bringing in major talent.
