Whats going through his mind now?

I think hes next years starter even if Lavin brings in a recruit like Quinn Cook. Im expecting a sophomore jump in Stiths level of play. With some new direction and the staffs confidence, I dont think we should count him out

Apparently he's worked really hard this summer. At least that's what we've read.

Hopefully, for his sake, the improvement will be reflected in his play. If not, he was certainly good enough to land somewhere like Umass/Hofstra/Fordham/Manh/Iona etc.

All he can do is work his arse off and get better.  One thing you can never fully take into account when comparing players is how hard they are willing to work.   Lavin said Stith was training like a Navy Seal.  Jerry Rice went form a D-1AA recruit to the best wide receiver to ever play the game due in large part to his legendary work ethic.

I'm thrilled he stayed this year. I don't think we would have had a shot at the tournament without him.  I also think he'll help us get to the tournament in 2013 as a senior.

We'll know everything we need to know Stith's future with SJU after November.
