Lindy's
« on: September 07, 2010, 02:56:10 PM »
SJU #11.

DJ Kennedy 1st team along with Walker, Freeman, Wright and Jones.
And if you look at the guys he's competing with, he's right there with them.
We'll see how good Kevin Jones is when he's the number 1 option.

Blue is ROY.

On the honor roll DJ is "Most Versatile"

Most puzzling choice: Ben Hansbrough is a 3rd team selection. Not a chance.

No mention of Polee in the top 100. Harkless is 86 in 2011.

Where'd they have Louisville projected to finish?

Even on a 13 loss team, I don't see how a team can lose four starters and two of their recruits and not be adversely affected.

I've said it once I'll say it again.  After Nova and Pitt, spots 3-11 to me are a total toss up.

We always say that the teams that lost a lot of talent will struggle, but they rarely seem to. Syracuse lost a lot. WV lost a lot.

But they always seem to surprise us by pulling guys in off the bench or recruiting a sleeper.

shurina, we'll revisit this in February.  There are some serious ballers coming up - they're just not household names.  The 'Nova sophomores, Kevin Jones, Abromaitis and Scott Martin, one of Louisville's frontcourt guys (Buckles, Jennings, Swopshire), Austin Freeman, either Dante Taylor or Talib Zanna along with Wanamaker and Gibbs, whoever stars on Marquette (Butler, Blue, Cadougan)... there's Yancy Gates who should be better with Stephenson and Vaughn dribbling the air out of the ball...

A lot of talent that wasn't in a starring role last year.
