WE need a basket...

Who has the rock in his hands when we need a basket in crunch time?

Clear it out for Kennedy? For Hardy?

Get the ball down on the box to either of the Justins?

Spread the floor and have Boothe penetrate and make a play?

Backdoor play for the rook Polee?

Other options?

"Alright, boys, this is the last shot we got! We're gonna run the picket fence at 'em! Jimmy, you're solo right! Everett, Merle should be open on the other side of that fence! Now, boys, don't get caught watchin' the paint dry!"

I've asked this before but am I missing something on Brownlee? Why is he getting so much attention. If he is going to be one of our better players we are in trouble!

Depends on how the night is going.  There are stretches when it looks like NOBODY on the court can keep DJ from getting in the lane.  If he's doing that, I'd say DJ, but only b/c DJ is such a good passer when he gets to the lane.  He can kick it to an open Hardy or Horne or dump it to one of the bigs if the interior defense converges.  There is also the chance of DJ drawing the foul and converting an "and 1."

Perhaps start the play with a pick and roll with DJ setting and Hardy curling off of it.  Both defender will likely run at the shooter, and it will leave DJ space to stroke it or drive.  If they are slow to get to Hardy, Hardy can drill it or drive it himself.

We don't know who will step up
to help DJ, but Coach has said that Hardy and Brownlee have been impressive.

On occasion, just about all of our guys have been good, but they couldn't put it together because Norm had such a low basketball IQ.

Coach Dale was a very shaky game coach. Championship game tied up and he diagrams the play for someone other than his best player. Coach Dale was clearly a great motivator but his game coaching was questionable at best!

Not surprising considering coach Dale's first name
