Michael Chandler - C - NW FLorida JUCO - Indianapolis, IN - OREGON

Chandler should come out and say he wants to go to Duke or UNC, and then when he's immediately cleared by the NCAA he should quickly sign with us instead.

I think I read somewhere he was three classes short last year and tried to take them online after he left his school.  NCAA said no.  I think he tried summer classes but didn't qualify. Hopefully he got his act together.  Could be huge for us.

I was just on the boards and that is great news is Chandler is done and grades in check.  Here is a quick excerpt from a poster on Rivals.

Btw - Chandler was on campus all weekend
and played ball past midnight with a few guys on the team... Done deal!

Hearing both Obekpa and Chandler to St. John's.. .. along with sampson, this would instantly be one of the best front-courts in the big east.

WOW Chandler would be a great add to the Team. He fills a big need. I hope this is true.

Not sure who he is personally.  Was just reading the boards and he seemed very confident that both bigs were going to SJU.  Funny thing is, he was so confident, he actually called out a Cuse fan saying how we were definitely getting a top 10 class.  I will have to read some more to see if he has any other comments on the board.

It's Scotch who used to post on Redmen.com and BEB and maybe even here.  I don't know much about him but I know some people here seem to know when he posts based on his style.  Not sure if he said anything back in the day that turned out true.

This is the same guy who screamed at me when I questioned Norm Roberts and his recruiting and coaching ability.

If true it would explain why Lavin feels confident going overseas now. Hopefully he has a few lois on the April 11 deadlines that haven't been made public yet
