Scout's Top 100 (Updated 12/7/2010)

Pointer shot up several notches, but some of our other recruits stayed basically in their same spots or dropped a couple of notches.

You know, sometimes a guy gets hot and the scouting services blow him up.  Sir'Dom Pointer is that guy, it seems; ranked over Harkless in this ranking.

Yes.

Interesting to see Harkless stay and Pointer rise, again.

No need to, as a lot of it is conjecture at this point.  I guess he's pushing for Harkless to be a McDonald's A-A.  Considering, he's in the 40's on most of the recruiting analysts rankings then it doesn't look like he'll make the Mickey D's game in a few months.

Who cares!?!  I think he's going to be a very solid player for the Johnnies and he'll prove it in due time.  Maybe, he'll get his props and end up playing in the Jordan Classic game in April.

Thats exactly what it is about. The voters might not see all these kids so they do defer to these type of rankings.

I hope so, as both of 'em are gonna be teammates a season from now.

Theo mentioned on Redmen and now here about Nate on Twitter but nobody has said exactly what he was saying especially in regards to Pointer's ranking as well.

The funny thing is that a guy like Evan, who put out this, his first list, for example, is at a significantly larger amount of events than actual McDonald's All-American voters like Tim McCormick, Kurt Kenner, Joe Wooten (Morgan's son), Mike Sullivan, Vito Montelli, Joe Petrocelli, Tim Stevens, Sonny Hill, etc.

Per Neal Nieves.... In response, to seeing Norvel Pelle ranked #69 on Scout.com's updated rankings on yesterday.

Looking at that list real quick can't tell me there is 69 better prospects then Norvel Pelle. Not happening nope.

This is precisely my point.
