“@JamieShaw5: Isiah Whitehead 6'4 G says Louisville St Johns and Syracuse are sticking out to him #nbatop100 #GetLooks”

And yesterday per Borzello he said something different.

#loverecruiting

So true. On another note, I hope we are also actively recruiting Terrell. I noticed his recent ESPN ranking went down, but IMO kid is a player.

Whitehead is really starting to figure things out. He's played very well this week.

Borzello reported the three that are coming at him the hardest.  These are the three that he says stick out to him.  Slightly different.

Wouldnt those that are 'coming at you the hardest' in theory 'stick' out at you?

Not necessarily, if SUNY Binghamton is coming at him the hardest, would they stick out to him? Probably not.

That's the point from my original post.

These articles that come out every day are poorly written and constructed.  You can interpret it any which way you want.  The day before the article mentioned the 3 schools recruiting him the hardest.  Today it was those that stuck out.  Just ask for the favorites.

Getting him is big as it would represent our 1st big head to head win with the big boys for a big name kid...realize Moe was technically the 1st but there were some extenuating circumstances

C'mon Steve - close on the kid and lock him up!

I love a true elite I don't have to be ambivalent about!  Even tho my Bruins have offered, they're targeting Rashad Vaughn nationally and Namon Wright locally at the SG spot.   So 100% behind Lav's landing this kid to step into Harrison's scoring shoes!

Four-star guard Isaiah Whitehead finished off an impressive spring at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, and could be putting himself in line for a bump to five-star status.

Isaiah Whitehead had an incredible spring playing with the Juice All-Stars and for a short time the New Jersey Playaz, and he capped things off with a stellar showing at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. It should be no surprise that the Brooklyn (NY) Lincoln standout continues to get significant recruiting attention.
A powerfully built 6-foot-4, Whitehead can use his strength and athleticism to get to the rim, or his much improved jump shot to hit from deep or in the mid-range. He has been scoring every way imaginable this spring, and he says it has to do with his hard work.

“I feel I have been playing great lately,” said Whitehead. “I have been in the gym a lot so it is hard work paying off really.”

Recruiting wise schools continue to stay in the mix recruiting him hard.

“I am still looking over schools like St. John’s, Syracuse, Louisville, UCLA, Minnesota, and schools like that,” said Whitehead.

Syracuse has always been firmly in the mix for Whitehead and they continue to show him a lot of attention.

“Syracuse has always been there recruiting me,” said Whitehead of the Orange. “I have a good relationship with the coaches and players. It is like I am already a part of the team.”

Another school that has been there for a while is Louisville. Rick Pitino has historically recruited New York City very well, and current Cardinal Russ Smith has told Whitehead what the place is like.

“Russ tells me you have to play defense, and if you play defense the sky is the limit,” said Whitehead. “They are national champs and they have a great coach.”

Also two schools with new coaching staffs are making a push. Both UCLA and Minnesota continue to work hard to get official visits.

“We have a great relationship,” said Whitehead of Minnesota. “We talk daily or weekly, and they have a great program.”

About UCLA, he said, “I’ve been talking to them every week about what new things they are going to bring to UCLA and things like that.”

Whitehead says that visits are likely to be set up following the July live period, and that he plans to make those before coming to a final decision on where to attend school."

Don't Sleep on Binghamton.  They can offer playing time at all 5 positions and they will let him have the ball.  Binghamton is lovely in the fall.

I am so impressed with Whitehead's ability to lead the break. Once he has the ball, he has his head up, assesses the floor & makes the right plays. He has all the skills to be a top flight guard for sure.

I see a little Corey fisher/D'lo in Briscoe. Completely under control and at his own pace.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Article mentions 5 schools and then goes into some detail on 4 of the 5. Guess which one is left out?  ???
