now I know why some coaches could not care to coach  college BB with this kind of business manipulation.  I hope he enjoys plying us at CA next year and Tiny--where will you work after he leaves because apparently there is no loyalty in Willard's approach

Orlando was hired, what, a week ago?  Now that is as slimy as it gets... Wow.

Yeah, I didn't have a problem with Willard bringing in Morton but kicking Orlando to the curb right after bringing him in is terrible. Could burn alot of bridges for them

So then Delgado is lost and Whitehead will have zero frontcourt to go to...  I see.  Whitehead will see a lot of double teams.  Oh well... Lets move on.  Tired of circuses like these.

Would NYC coaches maybe not take a liking to that?  That's my hope.

PMG - what do you think about your (second) favorite team hiring your most hated NYC HS coach?

How do they have 2 spots when they already have Freddy Hilll, Holloway and Antigua?.  At best they have 1 if they jettison Antigua or relegate him to DOBO.  They'd still have to jettison Holloway I believe.

Antigua is gone

You mean it wasn't a tech glitch...ha ha

"Oliver adds a new dimension to the program with his vast knowledge of New York City high school basketball coupled with his experience coaching on the international level," Willard said in a statement. "He is a proven recruiter who has experienced success throughout his coaching career. We are very excited to welcome Oliver to the Seton Hall family." KW

A week later: " Oliver can I see you for a second & bring your lap top"

Antigua and Tiny hate each other. That office isn't big enough for the both of them

Sucks that St. John's got brought into this mess

Would've just preferred to see the kid sign with Seton Hall when SJU was out of the picture

Dont know the whole story obviously, but if Antigua is leaving on bad terms, which is probably the case then SHU wont be in the mix for any CHSAA players under Willard

“@Dylan_Butler: Hearing Whitehead likely won't start till 3p”

Tiny still pressing his suit.

If I'm Lavin, I'm pretty pissed as well.  They recruited us into the fray and Tiny manipulated a big "FU" into the equation with a move like this.  They knew we didn't have any assistant spots.  Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but Tiny is the big winner here and he was able to play Lavin at the same time.

From afar, that's exactly what it looks like

Pretty sure Tiny already has a royal blue suit.

If its just making a spot for Tiny's son on the team than that is one thing, but if you have to fire the coach you just hired who just got you your biggest recruit (Delgado) to make room for tiny than that is bush league.  Good for the seton hall fans who need something to cheer about, good for our conference as a whole, but disappointing for us. I hope Williard is prepared to sleep in this bed he has made.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

not overly concerned with this loss...we have a loaded backcourt already.  looking forward to playing these guys next year...and hoping max lights them up with five threes that night while dom shuts iw down on the defensive end.
