I thought we were done chasing Traylor too (and I'm fine with that), but Lenny Robinns' article in this morning in the NY Post announcing GG's intention to join SJU seems to indicate otherwise: 

"With Achiuwa in the fold, the Red Storm staff will now turn all of its attention toward another talented post player, 6-8 Jamari Traylor of Chicago who is at IMG Academy in Florida.  Traylor is teammates at IMG with St. John's recruit Phil Greene, which should work in the Red Storm's favor"

Can anyone explain this?

I have no idea if Lenn knows what he is talking about but my only explanation is that the staff feels that they should fill every scholarship this year, let the kids fight it out to see who can play and then make room for guys like Anderson and Gathers if they decide to come.

Can't argue with that logic, assuming we can actually make room for the 2012 blue chippers if/when they decide to come.

He's wrong that is your explanation.  The Zags article and two Rivals articles confirm he is no longer even considering SJU and clearly SJU is trying to set it self up for 2012 and look likely to be done after GG.

Jamari chose Kansas today.

His teammate DeAndre Daniels putting off his decision again until tomorrow.  So assuming he does not sing an NLI today and fax it in before announcing tomorrow he won't be signing an NLI sense today is the deadline.
