Big East Player of the Week - DWIGHT HARDY

Hardy was named BIG EAST Player of the Week after he averaged 20.5 points and 6.0 rebounds, shooting 52.2 percent from the field (12-of-23) and 100 percent (14-of-14) from the free throw line, to help St. John’s to a 2-0 start in BIG EAST play with a pair of road wins. He scored 20 points with six rebounds in an 81-71 win at West Virginia and had 21 points and six boards in a 67-65 win at Providence. Hardy leads the Red Storm in scoring at 16.3 points per game.

I knew he was going to do well this season but he's surpassing my expectations with his play off the bounce. He's such a complete player.

I knew he was going to do well this season but he's surpassing my expectations with his play off the bounce. He's such a complete player.

hes such a better passer and finisher than i thought. imagin if he shot 3s like he did last year

He's much better driving and scoring or dishing. I like him shooting 1-2 threes per game.

He's creating and making things happen.
Hope he keeps it up.

He's drawing so many fouls too by driving to the hoop as well. He's absolutely money at the stripe too.

Terrific 180 on his game from 6th man SG who stands at the perimeter to penetrating PG. Thanks staff  ;)

  Was Boothe hurt?  I don't listen to the announcers when watching a game.  I didn't see anything in the articles.   thanks.

Apparently still has hamstring issues.  He was hopping around in the Providence game.

We've got to keep Hardy at the point. His ability to create off the dribble is something teams aren't prepared to defend.

Now the half time adjustment is on the opponent, and everyone is having trouble making one.

Boothe was dribbling aimlessly in either the WV or Prov game. He hurt himself after going down the court fast as hell w no plan at all.
