Good fortune on the court - Around the league???not so much

The Orange beating the Hoyas yesterday and Louisville beating Pitt today means that we must win both remaining to get the double-bye.  Unless,  Depaul can beat Cuse upstate or Prov. can beat Louisville on the road.  Which ain't happenin.

What happens if we split and Louisville loses @ West Virginia causing a 3-way tie?  I'm assuming they just pool the head to heads and we would be 0-2, thus getting the 5 seed.

That's the way I see it.  Creates 2 must wins if we want the double bye.  Would love to get the 3 seed and have Cuse and Ville finish 4 and 5.  We would avoid Pitt/Ville/Cuse until the finals.  That means we must win 2 and have Louisville lose 1.

Seton Hall should have trouble with our defense.
Paris Horne on Jeremy Hazell is the key matchup.

I would rather the team earn the double by as they win both games rather than back in because of someone else's losses.  We need to keep winning to have good things happen in March.  The team has motivation for winning the next 2 and will come at the bottom teams with the same energy as they do against a ranked team as they did to DePaul.

We had a great late run and did just about everything possible in a vain attempt to get the double bye.  We got no help at all from the other teams.
