The Big East Conference Tournament begins tomorrow at the Garden with four first-round games and utter uncertainty.
How wide open is this tournament? According to AP national college basketball writer Jim O’Connell, this marks the first five-day tournament in which two ranked teams (Connecticut, Villanova) will play on the first day.
Last season, The Post picked West Virginia to win it all and Bob Huggins’ boys delivered. This year we go with Mike Brey’s Fighting Irish, hoping they can become road warriors. All five of Notre Dame’s losses have come away from home.
