I think Sampson is more of a 3 that could play 4 but would slide in nicely at the 3 should they land Jakarr. I don't know why he would choose Providence over St Johns in all honesty.

Yep, that sucks.  Quite frankly, I never really felt comfortable once his brother got too involved with his recruitment.  You're right, Moose....  There is a possibly a chance we face them in Charleston next season.

Thanks Moose.  I remember reading somewhere on these boards (maybe from Dave) that there was speculation that Lavin was kind of losing hope on Gathers in the last month or so, and was instead focusing more on Sampson and other bigs (Obekpa perhaps?).  I hope that's true AND that it translates into a committment soon.

Baylor is putting together a great class but he aint gonna get the PT there like he could here. They signed two very good centers & Quincy Miller will be only a soph. His choice hope he's at peace with it.

Kansas has a great class, if he doesn't want to play right away for STJ then so be it.
