Robert Sacre, the big man of Zaga is a menace on the boards. Burrell, Evans and Brownlee have to get up for him and really contain him because he is a force downlow.

Also the guy who has to come up huge on D is Boothe. Stockton of Zaga is like the white version of him....though he is a freshman and will be prone for mistakes on the big stage. Stockton is a sparkplug player who can make some very good dishes downlow if given the chance too. If Boothe brings his great defensive game, he could get the Zags to make turnovers.

Its a winnable game. Mark Few is a slick coach with alot of tourney games under his belt. Zaga will be more experienced heading to the tourney game no doubt but St Johns is more athletic and if Hardy has his A game, they will have no answer.

i love every thing about our bracket except the matchup with zaga. they have good size and a good shooter in gray. Im not sure how west virginia gets the five over us though.

I have night class on Thursday so I pray that because its the Southeast that the game is held on 12PM EST or 2:30PM EST.

If its 7PM I am screwed. 9:30 I would miss 1st half probably but might be lucky to catch 2nd half. Still I hope its an early game for St Johns

I could see a run to the elite 8 vs. Pitt.... I can also see us losing to gonzaga.   Ucla has Michigan State?   MSU wins that one.

We gotta pretty good draw.  Gonzaga is tested though they always play a good nonconference schedule.  Then we have to hope we don't get Jimmerred

I absolutely LOVE our half of the bracket. I personally think the winner of our first round match up makes the elite 8 in that portion of the bracket.

When we beat Gonzaga, Hardy against Jimmer could be one hell of a show.

Tough match-up for an 11 seed. For us, the only one tougher would've been Missouri.
The Wynn opened St. John's as a whopping 2 point favorite.

Although, i really like the bracket, I am disappointed the committee sends us across the country and have to play not just one west coast team but possibly two to get to the sweet 16.  How WVU gets a higher seed, I will never know.

I dont know that this will make a huge difference but I dont like that we are in Denver and how all the Zags players and coach kept saying how they are going to bring all their fans down. I like the draw we got because I think BYU is a weak 3 seed with the way they have been playing of late. I think a Sweet 16 run is very possible but that Denver draw bothers me a little.

The committee did a disgusting thing. Let's hope the players are good and mad about it. There shouldn't be an arena anywhere that they are intimidated by. Lavin is the key to their prep as always.
