Sean Kilpatrick isn't a done deal yet.....I'm not counting my chickens before they're hatched. Yes its a good chance however its not set in stone he is coming from what I hear. I for one though hope he comes.

don't expect a public announcement on this until after he takes his other SAT in june, IMO.

His other SAT? What did he score on the last one?

no idea

He didn't do nearly well enough.  Chances of him ending up at STJ are slim.

Then,

Why it appears St. John´s in the subject?

It was a premature move and I've changed it

Do you mean his chance of being here next year or ever playing for us?

Given the much acclaimed team GPA, you're forgetting that Norm has modeled the program after Cal Tech.

Kilpatrick Still Waiting
Sean Kilpatrick of White Plains has not yet committed to St. John's, desipte a report indicating he had earlier this week.

"There was a misunderstanding and we're still deciding," said Gerard Jones, Kilpatrick's advisor and the older brother of West Virginia commit Kevin Jones.

The 6-3 Kilpatrick, who averaged 25 points and 7 rebounds last season, earlier told ZAGSBLOG that St. John's was his No. 1 choice. He is also considering Kansas State, Cincinnati, Kentucky and UMasss.

"Because of the sitaution of waiting for the SAT score, every school has been willing to wait," JOnes said. "We really don't have any real time estimate. All the schools have been great with him. We're waiting for his scores. Everything is day by day."

6-8 Kevin Jones leaves for West Virginia in a month and is excited about joining a class that includes Darryl "Truck" Bryant of St. Raymond's and Devin Ebanks of St. Thomas More (Conn.)

"We were definitely pushing for (Ebanks to West Virginia over Texas, Memphis and Rutgers)," Jones said. "I think they can play well together, they complement each other. Two big wings that can play three different positions. That's a beautiful situation."

Bob Huggins must think so, too.

http://www.zagsblog.net/2008/06/30/kilpatrick-visiting-providence/
Several weeks after reports surfaced that Whie Plains senior shooting guard Sean Kilpatrick had committed to St. John’s, he is interested in Providence.

Gerard Jones, the older brother of West Virginia commit Kevin Jones and an advisor to Kilpatrick, said Kilpatrick is interested in visiting Providence, although he cannot take an unofficial visit in JUly as per NCAA regulations.

Kilpatrick is still trying to put his academic package together to see where he stands

“The guidance counselor is trying to put everything together and see where he is,” Gerard said. “He got his test scores back, he did pretty well, so we’re trying to get everything over to the (NCAA) Clearinghouse and see where he is.”

As for the St. John’s situation, Gerard called it “miscommunication on both parts.”

Gerard listed several schools still in the mix.

“UMass has come on really strong,” he said. “Kansas State is still there, so those are still the same.”

Speaking of K-State, former UConn and Rice big man Curtis Kelly is headed to the school that produced Michael Beasley, the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft, and fellow NBA pick Bill Walker.

“I feel I will have a better opportunity and get more out of my college experience if I go somewhere else,” Kelly told the Hartford Courant.

“I respect Coach [ Jim] Calhoun and will miss my teammates and the many friends I have here at UConn. I know that the guys here will have a great chance to do some special things next year, but I needed to be true to what will make me happy.”

i thought pc was a harder school to get into than st john's.

so now we'll have kilpatrick lighting us up for four years.

Did you think Kilpatrick would have been lighting up the Big East had he signed at St Johns?
