How big you think Nash is?  He's listed at 6'6" by scout.  6'7" by espn and rivals, but my bet is he not a hair taller than 6'6".  Pointer is listed at 6'5" or 6'6" depending on where you look.  Probably 6'5".  They aren't much more than an inch apart. Nash is thicker at this point though.

Reading this debate made me check out Nash's ESPN recruiting profile. Then Sir'Dom's. I didn't even realize Pointer had finished 24th in their rankings. That's some jump he made. (Also went from 81 to 44 on Rivals)

Can this season just begin already??  :D :D

the heights are never exect. lets say that two of them are in fact right and NAsh is 6'7 andd pointer is 6'5 than that would make him two inches taller. Just from watchin them to me it looks like nash is taller than pointer

It's not always height.  Nash is longer than Pointer which I think is what your seeing.

Ironic to see on Twitter that Doron Lamb was playing pickup at STJ today

He went out of his way at IS8 to let me know how bad Kentucky was going to beat St. John's.

Too bad the game is at Kentucky but with all the home calls that Cal gets there (if the refs wants to work there again) they might have the edge.  Lets hope Doron goes 0 for the game.

Staff thought they had Nash locked up. They pursued him pretty hard.

Cook was more luke warm interest.

This is how I remember it as well.  Nash is really a filthy player, but can anyone really complain after we got Pointer?  Very similar players, and I think while Nash might be more skilled now, Pointer is actually a better athlete with a higher ceiling and a MUCH better attitude.

better attidue probably.  Better athlete is debatable but I would say Nash has about as high a ceiling as anyone in this class. He is probably 3 inches taller than pointer as well

No way Nash is more than an inch taller than Sir'Dom.  Nash isn't taller than 6'6" and Pointer is about 6'5". I like Nash a lot, but I to think Sir'Dom is a very similar player.  Both smaller sized SF's height-wise who are physically strong and aggressive.

Stood next to Pointer at least 5 times last week. He is 6 5 for sure.

I honestly think the kid is could be a "silent verbal".  He's taking visits even now and doing his due diligence.  The fact that he's visiting schools this early, tells me that he is filtering things out even now.  This staff won't pressure him to do so, but I think we have a big lead for him at minimum.  He just visited several schools and is still rocking the SJU socks. That is a really good sign.

I've seen him rock St. John's socks, UConn shorts, and American U Tshirt. He's 15 yrs old.

Next time, tell him that Uconn and SJU apparel are NEVER to be worn together.  He might busrst into flames... ;)

You get the sense with 3 or 4 years on these kids that the staff will put together some monster classes in 2014 and 15.

I mean multiple top 20 players in a class, a la Kentucky.  He is putting together some solid classes already.  This year has the potential for numerous all americans.

Yeah, and by the time McCullough & the other 2014 kids get here, they could very likely be joining a team of defending national champions

Its pretty impressive that he leads his team as a freshman considering most kids are 3 years older than him.
