Just spoke with somenody who would 1000000% know....If SJU can get 2 of Nolan, Chandler and Chris O they will be able to take 2.....Not even a question.

Exactly! Moose's point for a while. Thx SJU79!

Yea but there was nothing to my gut feeling.  What I was feeling is not true

Update moose?

If SJ takes on two additional players won't that amount to 14 ships?

That seems like a lot of guts hanging out there.

Seriously, I think many of us feel that if we get the 2 "Bigs" the Red Sea will part and that #13 scholarship will open up.

Maybe we should contact that guy at SHU and get some percentages on which of the Big Three (Michael, Chris and Phil) will come on board.

The consensus is we have room for both Nolan and Chandler if they can be here, and now it sounds like Felix is a sure thing.
So there's a couple of possibilities that I can think of..

1) Hooper isn't on scholarship.
2) Somebody's transferring out

I mean that's the only way we can have them both and get to 13 right?
But let's be honest, this is a good problem to have.   Because as you point out all the time, we have no center right now.   So let's get one, then the second, and then we'll see what Lavin's plan is to fit them all in.

You're right. While I don't want to start rumors, I wonder if Gift would transfer? Stranger things have happened.

So back to Darrick,

Those of you who have seen him play what kind of impact can he have this year if he qualifies?

Can he be a scorer off the bench?    Because lets be honest, our offense wasn't exactly a thing of beauty last year.

Hooper's twitter bio says St. john's class of 2015.  Doesn't that seem to imply he'll be eligible this season?  Just curios.  I don't care either way, as he will be a valuable contributor down the line with his shooting regardless.

No because that is his graduation year. Nothing to do with eligibility.

It's curious that Wood's decision to re-committ to SJU has not yet been picked up by any of the usual media outlets, as far as I can tell, save Daniel Martin's write-up appearing in NBCSports.com.  We've now had 4 recruits verbal/sign committments in the last 2 weeks and it's been virtually radio silence.
