Should we be getting nervous that Wood has not yet signed an LOI?

How do you know he hasn't?
What are you, the recruiting police? Usually a school announces a signing.

Or the player announces it through facebook or twitter.

What is the advantage to SJU to hold back an announcement if someone signed. I too thaught Wood would have already signed and was hoping for Pelle.

Plenty. PR 101 yo

Do it day of a big game (Zona) so the announcers can mention it on espn.
Do it day after a loss so there's a lil good news for the fans.
Do it after they get another LOI from a recruit no one yet knows and announce them all on one day.
etc.
Parking only for NYCHA permit holders.

That's perfect ... even by mentioning #3 on your list, you are bound to cause a stir.

Choz: So what you are saying is while half of us are nuerotic about Pelle,he may in fact have already signed, but SJU is waiting for the most opportune time to announce it.

Thanks Choz.  We have a neurotic bunch here, but our staff is as good as is out there.  I'm not worried about Wood.  He has been gung ho SJU.  I am intrigued about a possible mystery recruit though?  Certainly piqued my interest.

He'd never be able to resist mentioning it on twitter.

Actually, while Norvel has been quite expressive about everything else on twitter, he has been tight-lipped about his bball career.  Whenever he signs his LOI, I hope it is with SJU and he's playing next year.  This kid has a world of talent and just needs to be amongst friends and coaches and in an environment that is good for him.

Have spoken to good sources and Darrick Wood is on board and excited to be at SJU.  No LOI this fall due to a logistical issue.

I never doubted his commitment but what logistical issue could have occurred to prevent him from signing a piece of paper and faxing it back to SJU?

Can't say. No worries though.

The next time you write anything intelligent (let alone, spell it correctly) will be the first time.

I'm not getting involved in this, but that sentence is hilarious and makes no sense lol.
