Or the player announces it through facebook or twitter.

Maybe he signed but the school wants to announce it when they are ready to.   

What is the advantage to SJU to hold back an announcement if someone signed. I too thaught Wood would have already signed and was hoping for Pelle.

Do it day after a loss so there's a lil good news for the fans.
Do it after they get another LOI from a recruit no one yet knows and announce them all on one day.

Thanks Choz.  We have a neurotic bunch here, but our staff is as good as is out there.  I'm not worried about Wood.  He has been gung ho SJU.  I am intrigued about a possible mystery recruit though?  Certainly piqued my interest.

Actually, while Norvel has been quite expressive about everything else on twitter, he has been tight-lipped about his bball career.  Whenever he signs his LOI, I hope it is with SJU and he's playing next year.  This kid has a world of talent and just needs to be amongst friends and coaches and in an environment that is good for him.

Have spoken to good sources and Darrick Wood is on board and excited to be at SJU.  No LOI this fall due to a logistical issue.

I never doubted his commitment but what logistical issue could have occurred to prevent him from signing a piece of paper and faxing it back to SJU?
