Anthony Bennett - C - Findlay Prep - Las Vegas, NV - UNLV

For what it is worth, Amir Garrett tweeting that he's trying to get Anthony Bennett to St john's.  Figured I'd add him to the list here.  I figure we're in the running if Garrett is pushing for him and Lavin is involved.

Just from seeing his size and pictures it looks like he is very similar to Gathers.

I don't want to say he's more athletic because Gathers is a bull who can run.  But Bennett is shiftier and likes to hang on perimeter more than Gathers.  Same size but not identical games.

Bennett has blown up since spring. He plays on CIA Bounce with 7 footer Sim. He's a big boy who can run with handles. He might have a bit of Sean Evans syndrome with the ball at times but he's really damn good. I think this is Amir just blowing smoke as I have no intel with St. John's being involved with him.

They have every sport at Findlay.. Baseball, football etc..

kid looked very solid tonight....14-17 from the line, hit a 3 or two alomost 10 boards.
