espn reports that a school needs to give 27 month notice so we have 2 more years of these two clowns and who even knows by then the NCAA may not even exist might just be 4 super conferences

we've been playing BC, va tech and miami with no fallout.  this will pass.  especially if the "new" big east is better than what we had a week ago.

After sending about $200K to Syracuse to educate my middle son I think I have the right to boo their basketball team.  And it seems Boehiem is not thrilled with the idea either. What's so great about Cuse football that the ACC wants them? They play in a small arena (45K) and have been irrelevent for most of the last decade or so. Are they considered a NY market? You'd think that the ACC would want Rutgers if that's the case. Also, I know that many of their alumni are unhappy with their decision to go for the gold.

on ESPN's Game Day today, they had Huggins of WV as the guest to pick games.  when asked about the ND/pit game, Huggins said he had to support the Big East team--Notre Dame.  I agree--pit is no longer a BE team and are dead to the league

Today was the first time ever that I rooted for ND to win a football game.

I always got annoyed when people said they were in the NY market. If you live anywhere in the area of Northern NJ, Long Island, the 5 boroughs, Westchester County, and maybe Rockland County (in other words the NYC metro area) then you live in the middle of the NY market. If you live about 7 hours upstate and Canada is not that far away, then I'm sorry but you aren't even considered NY to the downstaters. Cuse is so far upstate that it's a different culture and it might as well be a different state all its own.
