If this is the final score I better stay off the boards tonight because the inmates will go crazy I'm sure.

7 players who have never played together before. We'll see great plays, and careless ones, too.
CW Post has a guard that I believe we were looking at one point. Stefan Bonneau. He's a senior now.

I expect them to come out pumped up for their one crack at a legit D1 team. Eventually our talent will win out
over our inexperience, but we have to remember that this game doesn't count. These two exhibition games
are here for us to get the kinks out.

We'll probably get an idea of which walk ons will be in the rotation. I'm guessing to start, we'll see Stith, Lindsey,
Harrison, Harkless and Gift. Off the bench, Pointer and Greene. That leaves room for 2-3 walk ons to play regularly.

I know its there for the kinks.  But you think most of the posters here will be smiling at an 8 pt win over a D2 team?  You think most Cuse fans were smiling when Leymone beat them?

Cuse was ranked #1 in the nation that year for about two weeks. If Onuaku doesn't get hurt, they win the National Championship. Do you really think that it's reasonable to expect 6 freshman and one benchwarmer to blow anyone out?

"Chiles says that the walk-ons that made the team from open tryouts, who are still working through the NCAA clearinghouse, are not expected to play, except in the case of injury or fatigue in the normal rotation of eight scholarship players."

I'm not making comparison to Cuse in terms of our success.  Pick any D1 team that has lost an exhibition to a D2 or D3 team.  No fan wants that.  No fan wants a single digit win in one of those games.  That's what I'm saying.  So all your negativity aside if there if tonight is an 8 point win as your predicting I can't wait to see the reaction here.

An 8 point win in our first exhibition game is just fine. Nothing negative about it. It's too bad that you interpret it that way. Several teams play tight games against D2 and D3 schools. We will not be the only high major program to do so. It doesn't mean anything.

Again I am not interpreting it that way myself.  If we win by 8 I'm not going to sweat it.  But MOST people here will.  I know this fan base all too well.  Its almost like your doing the Incarcerated Bob reverse jinx.  Saying we win by 8 to cover yourself and then being pleasantly surprised when its 22 pts.  I'm not one to predict because that and gambling has gotten me nowhere but I expect a win of more than 15 pts tonight.

The way they were talking about it, one would think this is the start of the Big East season for St. John’s.

“I’m approaching this like we’re playing Syracuse,” said freshman guard D’Angelo Harrison. “I’m looking at this like it’s the last game I’ll ever play. Everybody is ready to go.”

In fact, Syracuse is not up next, nor is Georgetown, nor Louisville, nor even Marquette. Tuesday night at Carnesecca Arena the Red Storm will be taking the court for their first exhibition game, this against Division II C.W. Post.

CW Post has one time JUCO recruiting target Stefan Bonneau who is a small high flying guard who should be a solid scoring threat tonight.

I love D'Angelo's attitude, the hallmark of a great one in the making.

I'll be there with queensfinest anyone else on board?
