Greene doesn't have confidence to pass the ball. But there isn't anyone else, so hopefully, he'll learn.

You're not running the offense if all you do is throw it around the perimeter. He's a player on the team. Stith doesn't run the offense either. These guys are in big time trouble. Providence is going to house them.

That's got more to do with how we run our sets, especially against the zone.  What I don't get is how often we have our bigs outside and the guards down in the corners.  Then as the clock winds down we wind up settling for a hurried shot.

Section, I hear you about the half court sets, but we didn't run one break last night. That's going to kill us. Greene has to take more chances.

We definitely need to look to run more.  That is the best way to beat a zone.  And when we can't run we need to start attacking the zones earlier in the shot clock.
When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

We didn't run once last night. Not once. I don't see how we can beat USF, Depaul or Rutgers.
All them have an identity.

Gene Keady needs to take over. I am sick of watching this match up zone garbage. It's given us the worst pre season in the history of the program.

We have 7 players no height and no shooters. I agree the team is rough to watch but I do not know what we could do differently. I hate zones on principle but I don't see us having another choice. This season is all about experience. Granted the Nuri transfer, ineligibilities and Lavin missing games is unexpected but the record really shouldn't be

I'm asking if its fact or your opinion.
I have no clue otherwise I would have let it go or corrected you.

Since you seem to know more about that game than me, go ahead and correct me.

I doubt this has been the worst pre- BE season in the history of the program.  Record wise?  Off the court? On the court?

I known plenty of teams wit a 7-man rotation than played Man-D for 40.

Perhaps 03-04 was a tad worse. But this right behind it. Even Norm Roberts had better pre seasons than this group. I can't believe I just said that.

If it was up to Gene Keady they'd be playing man to man. But what does he know about being a head coach at this level?

We need to switch it up on D.  Can't be stubborn with the zone if its not working.  There is a time and a place for it.

Big proponent of multiple D's.

Switchin D's is the best way to stop runs. No doubt.

Um ok.
I asked you a question.  I dont know the answer either way.  Would you like me to spell that out in another language too.  I was asking a simple question but your acting up in the sand box.  Good to know for future reference.

Moose, it is always a matter of opinion. I figured that was completely obvious. Sorry to have confused you.

Thats fine.  When you said it you had me wondering what our worst start was.  I mean the walkon year all the stuff went down later in the year so record was padded.  The Norm years we started out good a lot then fell apart.  Thats why I wanted to know if you knew it for a fact.

Thanks for clarifying.

I get a kick out of people saying well this team did this with a 7 man rotation and this team did this.... We don't just have a 7 man rotation. We have 7 men and one of them is Malik Stith! Even if you only go 7 deep but have scholie players sitting on the bench you have more rope. Having 6 guys, Malik Stith and 3 guys with black dress socks does not afford you the opportunity to do too many things.
