Careful you last 2 posters-you are boardering on being too negative for the tastes of some of the more sensitive members of this board. :'(

You should have seen the board during Norms last few years.  This is nothing.  I'm just tired of being negative about everything, aren't you?  Last year was great. Prior to that, it was a living hell.  I'm just not ready to go back to complaining about a team full of newcomers going through growing pains every sane person knew was coming.  Call them rose colored glasses if you must.  It's better than bitching and moaning all the time.  I've done enough of that the last 10 seasons..  Carry on..

 Just one man's opinion...

Agree. But I don't complain because I know WHAT WE ARE. I respond to what I think are ridiculous way over the top overly optimistic posts  of some people that are very unrealistic. I make observations but I have very low expectations for this team-that's not being negative it is realistic and my opinion. Some posters were saying why can't we win a NC this year' other a run in NCAA T, others 20 wins in 30 game sch. That is because they just look at our team and fail to consider the opposition or just that everyone else sucks and all our guys are so great. That is being negative toward our opponents were I evaluate them fairly and give credit where it is due. It seems like we have a lot of Yeah Team Go Team weare the best cheerleaders who fail to see the reality of the situation. WE are undermanned, lack height, depth and experience and sad to say we will not be winnibg the NC this year. I can deal with that and believe in our future so don't anybody on this board lump me in with the overly negative agitator posters on this board.

Which posters?
Why can't you call them out instead of alluding to them when 'other' posters make comments that aren't even close to over the top in either direction.

Because I spend enough time on these boards and don't have the patience.. or wherewithall to look up who said what. Are you denying that some of our players and posters (may have been on redmen.com where I know you frequent) were talking NC and NCAAT berth? Maybe NCaa with our 3 ineligibles but these predictions were post declaration of inelibiblity. Plus the poster (boo) who I was going back and forth with agreed with me so why are you once again taking me to task over my post?

Some of us are not negative, just stating the facts. Making statements like Nuri has had trouble hitting the outside shot, or it is dissapointing that the 3 didnt qualify and Pelle and Gathers decommitted are just being truthfull not negative.

Taking you to task?  I'm asking you a simple question.  Its a message board where conversation is had.

If anyone predicted NC this year they need head checked.  There is nothing wrong with saying Nuri can't hit a jumper, or it sucks the 3 kids are ineligible etc.  But there are a couple posters who are over the top.  And before you jump to conclusions, NO you are not one of them.  Where honestly what they bring to the conversation is nothing.  I said it last night to one of them.  There is a way to constructively criticize and there is a way to look like a fool.  They were accomplishing the latter.

I'm just curious who your talking about and since you keep bringing it up I didn't find it outlandish to ask.

These are not the type of comments that get people upset.  Read last nights game thread ( did it get deleted? why? )  They stick out like a sore thumb.  I don't want to mis quote anyone so i won't try and paraphrase.

Moose was spot on with his comments.

It's the constant refreshing that is annoying during the game though.  I like the chat because it scrolled.  Your point is taken.  Seems you should be able to archive a scrolling chat anyway though.

I mean looking back so you can prove point on how good/bad ppl look over time.  Like illwill's comment that this yr will set us back 3-4 yrs.  That would have been fun to rehash.
