He could be playing 38 minutes a game against top 10 teams at the Garden on Espn every week with an occasional feature on top 10 plays of the day.  Added bounus receiving first class basketball coaching and physical training.  Instead he's waiting to start over again at the age of 25 at Rider?

As far as mistakes in life go, this is gigantic.

He made a terrible life decision.  I feel bad for him.  As far as STJ is concerned, Nuri leaving was the best possible outcome. It is the very definitions of addtion by subtraction.  Greene is now getting the lion's share of the minutes. Greene has a much higher ceiling and will be around for four years.  We will all be thankful in 2-3 years that Greene got this opportunity in what all reasonable fans considered a throw away season in terms of wins and losses.

I sure hope so.  But for right now...I wish he stayed.

I can't confirm/deny offer being pulled. Everyone is pretty mum about it. However I do know that Rider was very persistent with him and he is there in school in class.

Arkansas decided to go with a hometown kid who wanted to transfer in....Fred Gulley.

Gulley averaged 4.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in eight games this season for Oklahoma State, starting five of those. He started 14 of the Cowboys' final 15 games as a freshman two seasons ago and started the team's first seven last season before a shoulder injury required surgery and forced him to miss the rest of the season.

The 6-foot-2 guard was a prep standout at Fayetteville High School, leading the Bulldogs to a perfect 30-0 record and the Class 7A state championship as a senior. He averaged 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 2.8 assists that season.

Alumni didn't want any of his problems. He is a cool kid his handlers are the problem.

Too bad. With his history you'd want to see things work out for him. Unfortunate that he's hooked up the wrong way.

Makes sense considering the awful things his handlers were saying on social networking sites after Lindsey decided he was going elsewhere.

He is no longer on of us so to me he does not exist; he chose to walk out on the team.  Thus why is this thread running in the "Jungle".  It should be in other college and pro sports as it is a thread about a player who may or may not qualify to play on a mid major--Rider.  If he attends classes at Rider and completes them like he did at St. John's, he will not play.  Did some one sat NAIA?

Beach, was Gulley given his scholarship? Just curious.
