I told u guys that this would happen....but yeah, lavin and company can do no wrong  :2funny:

we are a mess!!!

Obviously you don't like Lavin and co.  May i ask who you were hoping they bring in after Norm was fired?   Did you hate this staff last year also?

This particular event says more about Nuri than it does about the staff IMO.  I'll wait till the details are out before I start killing anyone though.

The guy is nothing short of a baiter and a troll.  I hope mods are paying attention to him.  Quite frankly, he has yet to bring anything to the board.

I agree, boo.  This particular situation says more about Lindsey than it does the staff.
MJ - I think this guy's on Arizona's board demanding that Miller be fired.  :knuppel2: lol

The internet troll who roams all over collegiate basketball boards talking to himself and annoying others?

I'm not sold Nuri is leaving this just seems like a fishy time to announce this.

The semester is almost over, so how is this fishy timing?  What am I missing?

Classes ended yesterday. Finals are next week if they didn't take them early. Next game isn't for like 9 more days.

Against Fordham they will probably be running with 6 players + Jamal White.

Screwed up thought they played another game before the end of the Semester.

Amir will be here in a few weeks, hopefully.  They have Wood signed and hopefully Gathers.  Still in race for Sampson.  Its only December.

According to twitter Amir hurt his ankle.  I have no idea if it is serious or a tweak.

Nuri hasn't looked the same on the court since missing both free throws against Texas A&M.  I agree that, if the rumor is true,  this is probably more a reflection of Nuri than our coaching staff (time will tell), however, the perception this creates for our program is not positive, no matter how hard we try to spin it.

It's confirmed.  He's gone. School will make an announcement. Way to give up on your teammates, Nuri.  You should have entered the draft i guess...  ;D

No way to spin this.  It's getting out of control.

You can't lose half of an entire class and look good.  Something is wrong.

however, the preception this creates for our program is not positive, no matter how hard we try to spin it.

IMO, that is what I was worried about....  perception.  No matter the reasons, whether they are legitimate or not, the constant instability per recruiting doesn't look good for our program.

Who transfers after 9 games because he gets chewed out and has to ride the pine.  I thought he had a bit more intestinal fortitude , as they say.

Hell ya I'm supporting the staff on this one.  This isn't on them.  It's going to be a bumpy ride this season, if you can't take it, or like to complain continuously, get off the bus please.

You've got to be kidding me? He's leaving after 9 games. Well, he quit once before. I guess you are who you are.

This one isn't on the staff...barring some other kind of reason, it seems as if he's leaving because he can't deal with criticism.  However it doesn't matter if it's on the staff or not, they have half a team.  They're going to get reamed in BE play...I feel awful for the remaining players and the staff.

Agreed Dan.  That's why you can't stop supporting them.  Francessa talking about it now.

I definitely knew that with an entire class of new players that there would be a lot of shifting as not everyone would get enough playing time for their liking or not everyone would qualify, but this is ridiculous.  Lavin has his work cut out for him.

Agreed, and thanks MJ for correcting my spelling error on perception.

When they hand you the ball and 40 mpg.... just what more are you lookin fo?

C'mon now Nuri.

Say it ain't so Nuri.

1) Huge Minutes
2) A fine coaching staff known for getting players to the league
3) A hurry up offense...and defense
4) Nationally televised games constantly

What starter would leave 9 games into their 1st season.  If this is true it's the epitomy of bush league.  What could he possibly say to his teamates and coaching staff knowing we only have 7?  If it's true, than GG owes him a beatin.

Nothing from the school yet.  Could this still be a hoax?  I sure hope so.  He's got great potential.

It could be a family or health issue, we don't know yet.  If so it sucks but whatever.  If not...yeah, what you said.

It seems he's not transferring.  But, he's gonna prep for the NBA.  Wow!

What?  Where?  If so what a huge mistake on his part.
