Once the word gets out that this guy can't hit a 15 footer they'll lay off him ands take away his penetration game.  Without that he'ss NOTHING and a deuschbag besides.  There's always some school stupid enough to take a chance but this guy is a detriment overall with no upside.  He won't be missed.

Memphis is out of his league.

Ha!  Get real!  He just needs someone to harness his game.  Quite frankly, I think Memphis would fit him at this moment.  Did you forget Josh Pastner is their coach?  I'm also guesing you haven't seen Memphis play or the conference they play in.
Is that boy wonder Josh?

Harness what game?  He has more question marks than a game of clue.  At best he's a kid that comes of the bench to score and not play a lick of defense.  Why gamble on that type of character for a kid in that role?  Let's  it make it seem like the only thing holding this kid back is his attitude.

I saw some talk on an Arkansas board that Seton Hall and Cincinnati are after Lindsey. Not that it matters, but is he allowed to go to another big east school?

He'd be 34 years old by the time he'd be allowed to suit up for the Hall. Probably going mid major. I think he'd be great in the America East conference.

Pretty sure he'd have to pay his own way too.

And pledge 20 years service in their janitorial department? Pretty sure 2 yr sit out rule is all that is required.

The pay your own way I'm thinking of is Big Ten.  Sam Okey did that back in the 90's.

I stand corrected but am pretty sure there used to just be a 2 yr rule. This rule seems very onerous on the student athletes.

But then think of this. Mike Glover doesn't make it at Hall and goes to Juco.  Then picks St Francis of all places. Only to go to Iona last minute. If other BE schools could have been involved they would have.

There was a 2 year rule for many years dating back to the early days of the Big East, it appears to have been re-written

I am waiting with bated breath.

Seriously though, many athletes have simply needed a different venue to blossom (e.g., Cedric Jackson).

I wish him good luck and think that his departure from SJU will -  in the end - be beneficial to all parties concerned.

Wherever he goes I hope he does well. I hope he finds what he is looking for out there.  He might have quit on us and I was pissed but as many have alluded we are welcoming Branch with open arms and I hope Lindsey's new fans do as well.
