A Dean at St Johns told me this. I didn't make that up. I'm an ass but not that big an ass
So why didn't you come out with this first instead of "when is a decision going to be made" statement?

I was told about two weeks ago that the cancer is out of his system, and he needs time to recover.

TheRecruitScoop RT @BFlinnBball: Mater Dei (CA) vs St. Ray's (NY) with St. Johns, Washington, Cal, UNLV, USF, FGCU, Santa Clara, Iowa & more watching.

Recruit scoop also said the St. Johs was in to watch Chance Ellis(not sure year or position). I'm guessing he plays for Mater Dei or st Rays. I believe Obekpa also plays for Mater Dei.

You're right. Aren't we recruiting someone else from Mater Dei?

Obekpa is at OSNA. The kid who committed to UNLV goes to Mater Dei.

Some probably think Lavins not coming back

What do you think?

These rumors of him not coming back are typical recruiting tactics used by the low lifes that recruit against him. We are going to be fine and once you see the first commit happen, it will be a chain of 4 more...mark my words

Ted, not just low life scum that recruit against him! Even some so-called fans here like to poison the well as you can see. Lav and his wife love NYC. Lav has his doctors here now and he is going no where. They are a cab ride away from Broadway and Lav plans on being here for many years from what I hear. Bad news for the rest of the Big East, especially UCONN with its aging coach and the local schools that will not be able to compete with his recruiting. I hope one day he will add Slice to the staff and St. John's will be set for the future.

The next thing you will hear from the Bald one is the Dean slept with Lav's wife and she whispered she longs to go back to LA to star in a remake of Gone with the Wind.
Speaking of wind......most of what Baldi posts has a lot of it!

If he is, that would certainly make him more credible than a make-believe dean.

Really?  I totally believed the Dean story. I mean, why would someone make that up?  For what reason?  We are all fans of the team here, no?   ::) ::) ::)

No, but I know a couple of boosters who have become friends and they give no indication he is going anywhere. Mary Ann is getting a number of call backs and loves NYC according to them. If you are a 34 y/o actress there are only two cities to live in ...LA or NYC.  As far as I know UCLA is not re-hiring Lavin and that is the only program worth his marquee name in Southern Claifornia.
