How are we so bad in the half court? I know we have an athletic team that likes to run, but these guys have been playing organized basketball their whole lives. How many games did they play a year in HS/AAU 100? more?
With 4 top 100 HS recruits on the court and a JUCO all american power forward, we should be able to out score Texas Pan Am. I don't know how to explain this....
We are a below average passing/ballhandling team, below average is prob being to nice. Every game we have more TO's than assists and it's not even close. Phil and Dangelo will be nice scorers but they really arent PG's. It worked last year with Hardy b/c we took care of the ball as a team. Different story this year.
It's just hard to get easy baskets when it's pass, pass, pass around the perimeter then try to go one on one and turn it over or shoot from distance.
