I predict a 20 point loss. We just don't have the depth. Count on Gift fouling out.

That may be true, but I predict that one of the walkons will have a big game coming off the bench in a year full of surprises and twists and turns to beat UCONN at the last second...The other Gift from God is are walkons.

Uconn and Cuse are our toughest matchups this year, I think.  Not just because of their obvious skill, but the fact that they have tremendous size and length.  I just hope the guys give us a good showing on Saturday.  If not, plenty of season left.

I predict if we win fans will hype the team too much and if we lose fans will try to make things seem much worse than they are.  I have no idea what to expect with thins group of youngins, but I think Providence was a great matchup for us.  Uconn has too much damn size and exoerience, but they are a team that could be hurt by our zone.

Uconn by 14.

although they have size down low i think our length will give the problems, drummond and oriakhi are not great finishers around the hoop although oriakhi looks for contact all the time. stay out of foul trouble we can win

I'm predicting a Uconn win.

BUT if St. John's pulls out the victory, every recruit in the country should take notice of the talent of our coaching staff and recognize the benefit they would receive from coming here to be taught by them.

UConn has 7 players over 6'8" and two guards who shoot 40 percent from three. Their one loss was while they were vacationing in the Bahamas. SJ squashed, 81-60

Two of our best three players Gift and Harrison struggle against length. This is not a good matchup for us.

One of those seven hasn't even played, while the other hasn't done squat.

Who are their shooters ?

Their size will be a problem.  Hopefully we can speed up boatright and napier and keep it close
