Wow this is great news! Not only will he help a bunch next season but I think we will see a drastic improvement in Greene and D'angelo just having a very good guard to practice against for the remainder of the season.
I was thinking the same thing about practice. It will be beneficial for both the current guys and branch to go against eachother in practice. Hopefully whatever went wrong at A&M doesn't continue here.
YES!! Fantastic news! At the risk of stating the obvious, Branch is practically guaranteed to get substantial playing time as soon as he is eligible to play in December 2012, given that (i) he will be practicing with the team for an entire year beforehand, and (ii) I don't believe we will get/find a better PG out the remaining 2012 class candidates that will beat out Branch for playing time (if we do, great, but it's no longer a premium on our list of gets). Now, we can focus our recruiting efforts almost entirely on obtaining a few quality bigs to help firm up the front court. This is just awesome!
