Harrison hit some tough tough shots today. Team is still finding it's feet but I've said this before and I'll stress it again there are 3 types of games this year in conference, games you should win, games you can win, and games you shouldn't win.

So far St. John's is 2-0 in games you could win and 0-2 in games you shouldn't win.

After 4 games that's a pretty good spot imo.

Well said! What makes this game special is we beat a team that would have been in the top 25 next week had they won! Had it not been for Greene's many freshmen mistakes in this game SJ would have won going away.

How about Mo with the follow up to win after having an off-game.  All of these guys will have some bad nights, and it will be magnified b/c of our lack of depth, but it is going to be fun to watch them continue to develop.  Mo, DeAngelo, Dom, Amir, Gift, Greene -- you are our core baby!!!  Keeping plugging.

Gates (or whoeverlaid greene out) looked like he really stepped into that screen   Its like howard did v duke before haywards near miracle shot    Refs never call that a moving pick at that point

What?  Why was he so open?  Awful defense.

One of our defenders was pancaked by the screen out at halfcourt.

Greene got laid out by Gates ( i think)

 Redemption for Mo!

I like what I see in Amir. He will get much much better by the end of the season.

Nice W. Harrison has a lot of determination The 2 star fr. got the job done.Garrett coming into his own, If you want to blow a lead use up the 45 sec. shot and throw up a desperation shot at the end, that strategy let Cincy back in the game. To many TOs though.

Agree re: Amir.  And it does not take much to see how complete of a player Dom is going to be as he matures.

Dom is a great finisher on the break.

Dom and Mo on the wings, now we just need a PG to dish and we will have showtime, east coast style.

Amir is also an impressive finisher. Had some flushes and nice lay-ins. I'm a softy for lefties too

dom needs to work on his handle and the short jumper.  if he can start to get by his defender, it's over.

That's what I'm saying, redmen.  As Dom and Amir continue to improve their ball-handling and mid-range games/jump shots, get stronger, etc, watch out!!

Oh and for our man Moe -- yes he struggled offensively today, but still grabbed 13 boards and had 3 blocks.  For a guy playing out of position, he's doing a hell of a job.

We give new meaning to the phrase "winning ugly". Put the emphasis on winning. Harrisons shot reminded me a little bit of Hardy re, Pitt. I'm sure that's been said already. Pretty gutsy move and Mo was right there with all the confidence to finish, after having a bad scoring game.

So important to win these 50/50 games as we're not blowing anyone out this year. Not real happy having 4 men 30 feet from the basket in our prevent offense. Got to at least make an attempt to score.

Glad to see Garret have a good game.  He came through for his team and turned this into a pretty big day for this program.

Hes getting better every game. Thank God he hit that 3 though after that Mark Sanchez interception he threw.
