I'm just having fun, Dave.  When people make stupid comments( which you agree with according to your post) I like to call them out...especially Baldi.  he knows I love him. ;)

Gee, the initial AP report on the game had "Cunningham" with 18 points as our leading scorer.  I thought he was our long awaited mystery recruit.  I now see some of the AP reports have corrected it to read Harrison.  Exciting game, even if I was reading it play by play on my Droid.

The game might of been ugly but we all can agree on is that it was great to see the toughness after Cindy came back.  I know we played some close games already in season but this was different.  It was in conference and more importantly kids got a close game win on road.  Harrison is a kid we can rely on to take the ball with confidence for last shot.  He might of missed but it wasn't some wild 30 footer, he made a great move with poise.  If and when situation comes about again he will make more pressure shots than miss.

Nice win today...nice to see a team shoot worse than us.  It's a tough place to get a win.

Harkless was just not in the flow offensively but he continues to rebound and fight on defense.  Glad he was able to finish them off today.  Harrison is getting more and more comfortable.  You can't leave him for a second.

Greene has had a tough stretch here but I think he is going to be a good one.  He's got a nice pull up J and they will start to drop eventually.  Love his attitude.

I had a "no,no,no...yes,yes,yes" moment when Amir hit that 3.  He also had a Sir Dom like finish.  It will be hard for him to adjust this year coming in so late.  But he will provide D, passing and rebounding for us.

Great win for us on the road. Thought we played real good during some stretches and real bad during others. Moe is great on the boards, it seems like his arms just go forever! Deangelo is so tough, three clutch free throws at the end to seal it and his shot at the end was so close to dropping, thank god moe was there to tap it in for the win.

We just needed to get some confidence back. Last year we beat cinci and Marquette on the road in back to back games. Lets do it again!

I can handle Greene having a tough go shooting, these slumps happen, but he needs to cut down on the turnovers asap.

"I can't wait until we win one again and everyone thinks we are going to the ncaas again"

We're going to the ncaas baby!  We are heading in the right direction, straight up!  Lavin is great!  Dunlap is a genius!  Our Nba ready freshmen are the best in the conference.  Hollywood's going to land an amazing 2012 class, fix the cancer, and we'll be elite 8 next season!  Any recruit not jumping aboard this shooting star headed straight for the top of the BE is making a huge mistake.

We want Marquette!

Not really, this game was rough to watch.

Rough as a baby's bottom.  A last tength of a second game winner by our superstar giving us the newbies 1st ever road win?  Against the brawling thugs in their house?  It was a thing of sublime beuty.

Bring on Marquette!

Right now we have a winning record and are 2-2 in the Big East.  We're not out of anything yet.  We are certainly headed in the right direction with these kids.  Harkless and Harrison were just named to Jeff Goodman's top 10 rookie team nationally.  If you can't see that this team's future is fantastic, you're nuts.  Don't know what will happen with the 2012 class buti think it will be good in the end.

It's kind of a running joke...I knew I should've put a winky at the end ;)

It goes without saying really, but it all hinges on Lavin's health and whether or not he can piece together a really good class for next year because he lost everyone he got.  One great class is terrific, albeit not as terrific as first anticipated because a  few guys were declared ineligible and de-committed.   Some slight success this season (NIT hopefully, NCAA is a pipe dream, this is a basically all freshman team in the Big East) with a good class coming in next year spells success (NCAAs next year, title run after that hopefully if everything breaks right).
