Rondae Jefferson - G - Chester - Chester PA - ARIZONA

He hasn't mentioned St. John's. His recruitment really hasn't begun yet but he's one of my favorite players from the class. He's a 6'6 point forward who can do a little bit of everything. Really tough kids and plays for Team Final AAU.

How has his recruitment not really begun yet?  He has to have schools after him and some favorites, no?

Na not really. I talked to him a few weeks ago and he hasn't looked at schools. Only schools in contact are all PA schools which hasn't gained any of his interest.

Villanova coach Jay Wright and assistant Jason Donnelly, Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard and Rutgers coach Mike Rice were among those on hand to watch Jefferson Saturday.

As far as Temple, I like Temple a lot,” he said. “Coach Fran [Dunphy] , he’s a great guy and I think it’s a good school.”
 
Jefferson also mentioned to Alex Kline that Pitt, Georgetown, Oklahoma, Texas, St. Joe’s and Syracuse were involved, but said he’s open in his recruitment.

Same state too.  God forbid he branches out a bit.

It's not a bad comparison. Rondae does a little bit of everything, he's probably a better ball handler but not as good of a rebounder.
