It is a tribute to him how we have never met him but are all saddened by his loss. The UCLA   BB community also misses him. I like one quote on their board " he can tell you how many times a player blinked during a game in 1972" He was a college BB encyclopedia.

Horrible news.  These boards will always feel a little bit empty without CRGreen.  I love how he supported Coach Lavin, how he adopted St. John's as his second program, how much he knew about the history of the game, and how positive and easygoing he always was.  You will be missed, CRGreen.

CR was like a basketball encyclopedia. Unusually knowledgable fan and poster.

I was going to register today and say something to that effect, but then got distracted by work.

He'll definitely be missed. He was a great, great poster. Knew his stuff cold and was a really friendly guy.

Yes they should if they don't know already. And maybe through the UCLA connection his family can be informed of how much he meant to this board and how he will be missed.

cr green was a class act and brought a unique perspective regarding ucla hoops. r.i.p.
