Syracuse - Game Thread

St. John’s freshman phenom Moe Harkless was moving well at practice Friday, two days after a bruised quadriceps hampered him through a 2-for-15 shooting performance in a win at DePaul. That is good news for the Red Storm because it’s going to need him Saturday when it faces No. 2 Syracuse at noon in a Big East matchup that's expected to sellout the Garden.

Going to be real tough to win this one.  Their defense is sooo long and they block a lot of shots.  We can't let them fast-break us to death.

Only one way we'll beat them: pass the ball better than we have all season.

Phil has to penetrate gaps in the 2-3.  Will be tough.

I hate Syracuse.  I grew up 45 minutes from the dome and have played against Triche, Rautins, Josh Wright, etc.  I really want to win this game, but I don't have a whole lot of confidence.  I'm hoping for a miracle so I don't have to take crap from cuse fans for another year.

It's going to be really tough today not to get blown out. They are exactly what we are not at this point. Too much size for us. We will see though, the Fresh Five playing with a lot of confidence.

keep it respectable and I'd be happy. I think the game could get uglier than Bernie Fines wife

This game will not be worse than that game a couple years ago when we lost by like 50. I actually think we can keep it respectable. If Harrison can shoot like he did last game, against this zone, we can keep it close.

We can't afford for Moe to get in foul trouble.  That's one for him.

Can't give up that entry pass.  waste of a foul on Moe.

Gonna miss most of this game..  Hope they win.
