we've missed half our free throws. their worst shooter splashed 2 threes. we've givin up a dozen offensive rebounds. we've scored on our own basket. And were only down 8 with under 4 minutes to go and the ball. Ill take it

I agree.  Or, just go up strong as possible.  You might get whacked in the face and lose a tooth.  But, you'll go to the line.
