NEW YORK - (AP) -- St. John's got to see how the other half lives beyond the 3-point line.
The Red Storm have spent almost all season in 16th and last place in the Big East in 3-point shooting. On Saturday, they held No. 20 Notre Dame to its worst game of the season from beyond the arc and it meant a 61-58 victory, their first of the season in 11 games against a ranked team.

How can we see Amir's play again?  Is there a connection available?

Thought the team overcame the refs as well.  In the a key play Garret was pushed to the floor and a ref called him for walking.  During the ND run in the second half their bigs camped out in the paint for 8 to 10 seconds at least a few times.  The Johnnies got some calls, but in both halfs they were screwed more often which makes the win more impressive.

Lets go st johns!! great win to lift us to 13-16 or 6-10 in the big east. If we win the last 2 games, its possible stj can finish in the top half of the big east (depending on how uconn, WV, and seton hall finish). That would be an amazing accomplishment considering our shorthanded roster, transfers, and HC on medical leave. Either way great job for dunlap and the boys!

No we cant. SHU already has 8 wins. We lose the tiebreaker with them. The best we can finish is 9th.

Well there goes my wishful thinking. anyhow this season (in terms of W-L) has been far better than what it could have been this year considering the circumstances. lets hope we can at least pull off a split of these next 2, but hopefully 2 wins.

100% true.   I thought every time Moe went at/over Cooley he was fouled.   And even that baseline play at the end where Moe drove and dished to Garrett.  Moe was checked hockey style and almost fell out of bounds.

Their fans thought we were getting all the calls.  I totally didn't see it that way.  Their big men were really pushing on our guys, especially on the screens.

Finally got a chance to watch a damn game. Nice win! Have not seen Amir play the last three games and he looks like a different player. Nice to see him adjusting. The future is bright for this group if we can keep them together. Gonna need a strong incoming class for next year.

- To eke out a win in a game which Dom tipped in a key late basket for the Irish and we shot 2 for 5 from the line down the stretch?  Fantastic!

- With teams lightin us up from 3 all year (all decade?),  law of averages finally swings in our favor as the Irish couldn't hit the side of a barn from deep. Strategy shift by them to take it inside sparked their second half run.

- I thought the officiating was very good.

- My first trip to the "new" Garden.  The upstairs floor I was on was an unfinished construction sight.  Adding insult to injury,  easier to get a beer in a Middle east mosgue than where I was.  Can't some of this Linsanity $$ be used to speed things along?  Embarresing!

Only missed attending the Villanova game this season and I must say it is sure much more fun to win. Great effort by the iron 6. Did notice we looked tired down the stretch so it will be very difficult to win more than 1 or possibly 2 games in BE T.
