Nice win. This team will take years of your life.   Hopefully some recruits were watching and the good times continue

Wow, I just saw the results on my Droid.  Did we just beat the #2 or #3 BE school?

I looked at the stats and saw we had a super number of TOs and still won.

We are a though team to figure out.  Are we coming together as a solid team at just the right time?

Real nice win.   Couldn't make it .. watched this one on tv.   Garrett is a hell of a player on both ends.   If his jump shot gets more consistent, he'll be the third weapon we really need.

We turned it over a little too much today, but we did a nice job aggravating ND's shooters.    But they also had a ton of open 3's.  A ton.   But we seem to live and die by that, when teams are shooting well we lose by 30 to Seton Hall, when team's shoot 12% from 3, we beat a ranked ND team.

They took a lot of 3's but I felt that our D rotated well and we made them rush a bit.  They shot 13% from 3 (maybe lower with the last miss).  We were so much quicker that them on both ends.  We let them back into the game when we started running the clock down.

I'll take guys like Garrett on my team everyday. Worked hard to get back on this team and now is reaping the rewards.

Three HUGE plays down the stretch by him. First the blocked 3, than the sweet dish to moe, and then the back breaking end of the shot clock layin which seemed like he took off from the 3 point line. Love the kid
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Our length definitely bothered their shooters.  Defense is coming around nicely!  To be fair though ND looked sluggish until about the 10 min mark of the second half but I think a large part of that was due to us jumping on them early and our very solid D.  Amir looked fantastic and what poise with the shot clock and game clock winding down to take it to the hole and force the issue.  I know he's had the "break out game" already but this basket basically said that d'angelo and moe aren't the only two who you can count on in the clutch.  Big bangin for mow with the rhinos down low for ND.  One thing that really surprised me, in watching ND their big guys really like to lower their shoulders in the paint and and a couple dribbles.  I was expecting a lot of charges to be taken today but hey....can't ever gripe with the W!

Have criticized Gift a lot, but he gave us good physical minutes today.

Absolutely tremendous, finally a win against a top 25 team...the NIT pipedream still exists if they win the next two BE games and two in the BET, either way great win.

just my thinking but nit could be closer than we think.  If they can finish a game or two under 500 the nit committee might want us because of NYC tv presence plus they they might feel it is good to keep showing off Harrison and harmless on tv since both have made a national name for themselves.

I hear that. He rebounded and move the ball like he knew how to today.

This. We are so freakin long and quick, we closed out their shooters alot and the times we didnt, they had one eye looking for a white jersey.

Winning back to back in the BE tourny with a 6 man rotation would have to be a first. I hope we get to see them play a second game.

It takes time for the team to learn the match up zone and I believe we are seeing that learning process bear fruit.  it will be interesting with the team back next year for the principles of the zone to not need to be learned from scratch again.  I like the way the players are cognizant of their teammates and will point to locations where they need to be if out of place.  While ND shot the 3 as bad as any NCAA school, our lads had something to do with that.

Interesting haw Mo looked like he was playing with more energy today.  the 5 days between games must have beneficial.  I can't wait until we have some back up for him as I think he will flourish with not playing 40 a game.  it is amazing how well he rebounds when you see the bulk he goes up against night after night.  That has to take something out of him but he presses on.

i love this team as they have shown growth through the season and they play with incredible energy and don't give up.  They lose 11 of 13 before UCLA and do not give up.  ON to the Pits--anything is possible. we have an extra day rest before playing the Pits and the same against RU which plays Nova at 9 PM Thursday.

AMIR FREAKIN GARRETT!!!!

Say it loud!
Say it strong!

We're dicking around. Nobody wants to make a move to take the game deciding shot. Amir steps up and says get out of my way. Big time !

These guys are so much fun to watch.  Love that Dunlap is challenging all the players to step up offensively.  And they are responding.  That Garrett move at the end blew me away.  I think someone else pointed this out, but he seemed to take his initial hop from just inside the 3 point line.

Unbelievable move by Garrett.  I love how hard these guys play and how bad they want to win
