Pitt Jam Fest & 2013 Recruiting

Pitt Jam Fest April 20-22 which is a big recruiting weekend considering we are probably behind on 2013 kids because of the urgency for 2012 kids.

Also the weekend Sanchez and Bourgault supposedly officially visiting campus.

What coaches go where?

St. John's is behind on 2013 

Tony will be out on the road most likely. Nothing new.

Any insight on some of the kids you think they may be targeting out of the gate for 2013? A ton of names have been mentioned over the past year in regards to that class but nothing consistent.

Jermaine Lawrence, Ish Wainright, Jaren Sina, Carlos Galan, Rysheed Jordan, etc.

From that list recently Ish and Jordan are not naming STJ.  You can even say Sina to an extent.

I hear ya Moose I was just throwing names out that have been watched in the past by staff.

No clue who they will target right off the jump starting end of April.

We'll definitely hear some names soon. I think alot of it is going to depend on who we get for this years class. I wouldn't be surprised if we jump back into Jordan's & Wainright's recruitment. Also think Stephen Domingo & Jerell Martin will be targets.

It's tough to get back into something once you drop out or are dropped.  We might have kept recruiting but the kids didn't like something (PT, campus, conference, distance) and it doesn't matter how interested we were.  I also don't  see us getting mentioned with them either.  The focus is elsewhere in '13.

Just a note my team team scan won 14u spring fling. That team has deavonte green( Danny lil bro) tj Gibbs ( Ashton and sterling lil bro) A 6'9 8th grader named kasumi who is a beast and a kid who is catching windmills right now.
The 15u lost in the chip to Ty Lawson team. We got Aron ray ( lil bro of Allan ray) Thomas Bryant google him he is the next one, Chris atkinson from our savior Lutheran and this kid from jeresey named ziggy who potential is crazy.
The 16 u with Chris mcollough lost in the semis.
Five star got the 14 u ranked #3 in the country. 15u ranked #7 and we haven't yet played with our full team. And 16u ranked 6 in the country.

Scan seems to be really rising up the AAU ranks.  Congrats KOB!

I don't think we are done with Wainwright but Jordan perhaps there is no need.

Lawrence is the must get.   Jordan is no need - plus he visits Temple every other weekend, and the Terps are on him hard.  Rumor is if Jordan wants to update his summer commit set for around July, Turge will take him in before the twins.  Of course, that would be a big pull, but I so badly want Cal to get "mush mouthed" (he annoys the heck out of me when he says that) and have the twins go against the grain & stick with Under Armour.  They're not total bandwagon type kids (by Papa H's own account - I love his ol' school style), so the UK beat down is actually possible.    Is it ok for me to say I want to poke some chinks in Cal's armor?
