JB was my favorite Johnny while he was here.  Never was able to reach his potential but a class act nonetheless.  I hope his success continues.

Thanks for posting the article; I am glad to hear of his continued growth.  He also shows class thanking both of his coaches.

Another one who was cheated in only have Lav and staff for a year.  I cringe to think of what the staff could have done with him if they had him more than 1 year.

Great to hear.  He seemed like a really good kid.

Totally agree. I still remember watching JB play at Cuse when he was a freshman and being in awe at his potential.  With the right coaching I think he could have been a pro.

Staff did do a great job with Burrell, he's getting paid to play. As is Kennedy,Hardy,Horne and Brownlee

Come on Baldi... JB could have gone and played in Japan right out of HS.  He didn't reach his potential and part of the problem was the coaching and part of the problem was JB's head/confidence. I have no doubt he would have had a better career at St. John's had he played 4 years under the current staff

Great article.  Thrilled for JB  - he was always my favorite player on the team and I'm excited for him that it is all coming together on the court for him.

So 1 guy makes the NBA and he's a Lavin guy. Another is in Japan, but he's Norms?

Why can't both guys get credit?

Loved JB to death. Lost his confidence early in his sophomore year and never fully recovered. We need a kid with his toughness inside.
