Sadly, in this day an age, if you aren't developed and ready for the NBa by the end of your sophomore year many look at you as a failure.
Really, this guy was a top 40 recruit and he's a senior....what the heck is wrong with him? Like that...
Well, in modern times, I'd remind folks of THESE freshman Numbers: 3.4 pts, 0.7 assists, 0.8 rebounds, 45% FGs, 55% FTs, 9.0 minutes per game. Jumped that to 12.7 pts, 4.3 assists, 3.9 rebs as a Soph. Some would still call that unimpressive.
I'd tell you what he did as a SENIOR, but he was already 2 years in the NBA as a #4 overall lotto pick by then. Russell Westbrook.
OT, intersting stat: This year, first time in NBA history, 2 college teammates finished in the top 5 in league scoring in the same season. Westy and Love. Only two teammates EVER to do it before were Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Alajuwon - each finished in the League top 5 scoring, but NOT in the same season.
