Hey even if Orlando leaves and we just add Lawrence, we sae teh ship for 14 where we may have no ships anyway.

Someone who is here will leave/transfer, its the nature of the beast and the program is not and will not be immune from it.

i'm official scorer for monroe men's and women's basketball.  i saw him play twice.  he's athletic...but there's no one he could beat out on st john's.  very raw.  ohio is a great move for him.

I thought last year you knew an AD there.
Ndour is on par with Gift and I think he has higher upside because he's bigger.

yes...first year.  that's because i know the associate AD.  we worked together back in the day at a radio station in westchester.  he was the program director who replaced howard stern there.  he hired me to anchor the afternoon news.  he heard i retired so he asked if i'd be interested.  it's something i never did, so i said, "why not"?

it's not the usual sour grapes with ndour.  ndour isn't nearly as good as gift.  he's as tall but much thinner.  he has worlds of potential.  i'm no scout, but i don't think he ever would have made an impact.  no way.

i only know what i was told by ada.  sanchez is high impact.  legit 6-9.  runs floor extremely well.  throws down with authority at the end of fast breaks.  outstanding defensively.  too nice and deferential to teammates which keeps his scoring down.  we saw this when he gave jakarr a soccer pass to let him complete a spectacular dunk.  he can soccer pass the ball to himself and bring the crowd to its feet...but didn't.

marco, i'm told, is not a legit 6-6...a stretch..  ada says he's never seen anyone, anywhere with a better three point shot.  he hit over 40 percent when he was defended.  totally lights out behind screens.  also knows how to keep misses in play so teammates can mop up.

btw, choz.  i'm not beaty.  there's a scrimmage with dowling college friday at two if you want to stop by and say hello.

Ahh I run in to you all the time. At least up until last year I think. Now that you are retired you will have time to hang out with us after the games unless you are too busy massaging the numbers for monroe

I happen to like Ndour more. Was intrigued when I saw him on Monroe but Nike Pro City games at Baruch put me over the top. Let's see if he signs early. Not saying he will end up here but got a gut he might go higher
