Watched Burrell play and later Horne.  Burrell looked really good, lots of energy and hustle.  I think Steve Kerr or Rick Fox referred to him as a "pogo stick" as he was really bouncy getting up to the rim.  Really pulling for Horne.  I'd like to see him create a little more for himself.

Any of the guys on TV today?

Burrell was the only guy playing today. It was more of the same as yesterday. 8 points and 4 rebs in 21 minutes. He was matched up with Faried for a lot of his time on the court and he held his own.

Tomorrow, Dwight and Lamont are playing at 6:30 est and DJ and Paris go up against each other at 8:30.

NBATV has Kennedy listed as the starting "1" for the Cavs tonight.

Looked for all the world like the other Heat guards "froze" Hardy out.   He's wide open in the corner numerous times, while they jacked contested 26 footers from above the key....

So, with Summer League almost done - have any of the SJU kids done enuf to rate an invite to a Pre-Season roster?   I'm thinking DJs a lock.   I think Paris has shown enuf with his defensive versatility for Dunlap to keep him around another month or so.   I'm afraid Hardy took the wrong offer - the Heat was a bad choice to try to showcase yourself.  Golden State has a track record of placing kids in the D-league for mid-season call ups off of their pre-season roster - I think there's a chance Burrell showed enuf to rate that opportunity.

Any thoughts?

I liked what I saw from Justin, although it was one game. He's been well coached, or at least not coached by Roberts for 2 years now. These kids still have some of stench on them because he coached them for 3 years.

Golden State Warriors posed the question on their Facebook page of what undrafted FA's the fans would like to see in training camp.  A lot of fans said Burrell and were impressed.

Found this blurb in a japanese paper this morning:

Power forward Justin Burrell, playing for the Golden State Warriors in the Summer League after leading Yokohama to the Final Four as an expansion team and earning 2011-12 regular-season MVP accolades, is attracting attention.

"Justin Burrell is impressing many NBA scouts," a bj-league source said. "I spoke with a scout for one NBA playoff team who really likes him, and has him on their team's short list of guys to bring in to camp, in case Golden State chooses not to."

Looks like Kent Bazemore who had a good summer league as well for the GSW got a contract with them.  Might hurt JB's chances as Bazemore is a frontcourt guy.
