We joke about a player's real height v. what they're advertised height is by the scouting services....

But let's not forget sometimes you can get lucky.   Didn't Moe grow 2 inches from the end of his senior year till he was measured in the fall?  Definitely seemed that way. 

Maybe Chris O is that guy this year.  Isn't he only barely 18?  You never know..

Yes Moe did.  But the comments are almost never 'he's taller than advertised'.  Its wow he looks small.  He's the same height as the other guy who is 2 inches smaller.  Etc...

Sanchez isn't 6'6".  He's slouching and leaning on desk in pic.  He looked about 6'8" at pro city from the video next to Tyler Harris who is 6'10"+ in shoes now.  People getting obsessed with this height stuff.  They all look "small" because none of these guys is listed below 6'6" and all are in 6'6"-6'9" range which seems about right.  Impossible to tell from an inch or two in these pics taken at different depths with kid's not lined up straight. 

I would put a lot of stock in FIBA stats and they have Orlando at 6'9

Those aren't sandals (which you don't wear socks with), but slides and you are supposed to wear socks with them (at least that is what my kids tell me).  I on the other hand agree with you Choz.
