What is the 10 game suspension they keep mentioning in the article? I don't think they give a kid that was ruled academically ineligible the option of a 10 game suspension instead of going and finishing up your required classes.

Are they equating a "10 game suspension" with staying in prep and becoming eligible in December?   
Because they obviously aren't the same, but that's the only thing that makes sense based on the context.

I don't think the writer knows WTF he's talking about regarding the suspension.  Just making it up as they go along.  The site makes the bleacher report look reputable.
