Jerry McNamera  4 yr avg 15.5, best yr 17.2. Jerry was first team all BE last 2 years. Our guy going to be working on a new position. No one scores in the BE just because he wants to. As a team goal I would love to have 3 guys score 10 + a game. Is that possible?

Certainly - this will be a Steve Lavin coached team  - he's NEVER had less than three.    We had 4 essentialy do it last year (actually GG was 0.6 pts shy at 9.4).   Two years ago, there were also 3.   On coach Lavin's WORST team ever - his final UCLA squad that went 10-18, there were 4 double digit scorers (and there were two future NBA players, and two more future NBDL players on that team that DIDN'T score Double digits).   In 2000, 2001 and 2002, he had FIVE players who averaged Double Digits in scoring.  He'd jsut missed in 1999, when frosh Dan Gadzuric averaged only 9 a game - so only 4 that year.  He's had 4 in 1998 as well - only starter Earl Watson failed to reach double digits.    His initial Bruin team in 1997 also had 5, and missed a 6th as starting PG Cam Dollar averaged 8.7.

Is it too soon? Probably. Is it still fun? I think so.

Points: DLo - 21.5 ppg
           Bourgault - 13.7 pg

Rebounds: Sanchez - 9.1 pg
                 Garrett - 6 pg

Assists: Branch - 5.5 pg
            Greene - 3 pg

Steals: Greene - 2.5 pg

           Pointer - 1.8

Blocks: Obekpa - 2.3 pg
           Sampson - 1.1

Minutes: DLo - 34 pg
              Garrett - 32 pg

Marco???
Wow

I think we will still see a lot of zone, and outside of Harrison, I'm not we have another long ranger shooter/scorer who's ready. Marco is an upperclassmen, so I expect guys like him to be more active early on, and if it works, throughout the season.
