Didn't want the day to go by without the site remembering all those our country lost 11 years ago.

A special thank you to all of our troops who have kept us safe and protected our freedom since that dark day in our nations history.

God Bless..!!

I still remember being on campus that day and walking back to the dorms. Looking out into the distance and looking in the direction that I've looked so many times before seeing the twin towers. Now they were gone and just the darkest cloud of smoke covered the sky. Im not from nyc but 9/11 and st johns is forever engrained in my mind and memory. 5 years later I lost my best friend in Iraq. I would just like to say thank you everyone that supports are country and our troops.

I remember you telling this story months back.

My prayers to your brother and hope he finds his inner peace and my prayers to pmg for his loss.

My girlfriend was a manager at windows on the world and was supposed to work that night. Obviously she was one of the lucky ones but every year around this time she kind of goes off the wall and has a hard time dealing with it.

I'm not even going to pretend to try and understand what she is going thru. A close friend of mine worked in commodities and that day I remember him being evacuated and talking to me on the phone and hims seeing people jumping off the buildings.

Just last year he was diagnosed with pts finally. I just hope one day all people can finally find some peace without forgetting what happened. It sucks so bad when people close to you are in such pain and there is nothing you can do about it

Called my brother yesterday, he was in bad shape as well. Said he could barely get out of bed or leave the house. And he was 1 of the lucky ones
