With the Under Armour Invitational in Dallas, Texas over, we reflect on some of the players who really stood out above-and-beyond the competition, playing some of their best basketball. Players like Joe Burton, Myles Turner, Isaiah Whitehead, Brady Ellingson, Quentin Snider and more put forth some incredible performances throughout the weekend. Catch a look at what some of the top performers did in Dallas.
JOSEPH BURTON - SF - 2014 - HOUSTON DEFENDERS
6-7 - ATASOCITA H.S. - PORTER, TX
Burton was a work-horse all weekend for the Defenders, leading them to the UA Invitational 17U title. Burton scored 20+ in a couple different games, rebounded the ball and made plays offensively in a variety of ways. His athleticism combined with his size was a problem for defending opponents each game as Burton was able to play on the perimeter when the defense sagged and hit some shots outside, but then blow by defenders to the rim when up too tight. Burton was explosive and dominant much of the tournament.
