Moose, kindly activate the "D" button.

You guys don't seem to concerned. Could you explain why? I'd love to hear some good news regarding this if you have it. I realize it's just an exhibition game, but the season starts in a week.

I suspect we will find out;

Sanchez is really 50, went to HS with Felipe Lopez SR. & not eligible.
Jamal Branch actually never transferred to SJU.
Phil Wait is returning for remaining two weeks of eligibility
Coach Lavin and wife have moved back to Bay Area.
Marco B. has returned to France for combination basketball/porno career.

All else is well. Patience, "Hammer to Galaxy" This may take a while.

We'll see if this is funny when we have 7 players and Louisville is coming to town.

worst case scenario...CO plays 30 minutes with jones and sampson providing the rest.  a smaller, quicker lineup that other teams need to match up.  we'll be fine.  lets just get the season started already.

This is funny.

But, call me crazy, I'm still concerned about the possibility of losing arguably our best frontcourt player with the most experience, and our best spot up shooter, a week before the season.

Lebron James didn't sign with the Knicks because he never went to college and is secretly getting ready to play for St. John's this season. Some of you really do live in lala land.

Why were then allowed to practice and go to school if there is a question of eligibility.  It is really frustrating for the NCAA to wait so long to make a decision, and unfair to these young men!

Obviously I hope that doesn't happen, but the boards would be hysterical. Moose trying to spin it as a good thing, 99% of the board panicking. Would be wildly entertaining!

And when 2 or 3 guys get hurt, then what? Sam Sealy starts?

I agree.  We are again undersized and lacking frontline depth without him.

We still know nothing. For all we know, it's our fault.

Rumor is he has improved and put on 1 pound. Come on, let's see how this sorts out. If we screwed up, I'm with you Poison, but let's get there first.

Relax guys. The sky isn't falling. Just wait and see what comes of this (probably nothing more then being ruled Senior-Junior) and then react.

Agree with last point, definitely not the first.

For the record I wouldn't have a problem with coach even if the two kids are ruled ineligible. We are not Kentucky where cheeseburger all americans are lining up to play for us. I would much rather take a shot on some kids who might be a little sketchy rather than the Geno's of the world. Lavin is recruiting a better type of athlete and these issues sometimes are part of the deal.

Yeah because all I do is spin things.  I have never criticized Lavin before. Right..............

People are panicking because Poison is leading the charge into the movie theater screaming FIRE.

How many times does it have to be said its CLASSIFICATION and NOT ELIGIBILITY.

What's funny is if they played in the exhibition and it cost us future games everyone  would jump down the staffs neck for playing them.  So they sit out a few exhibitions big deal.  Harrison would have better sitting out last game too.  Or wait didn't he?

Yes if this drags to Detroit or down to Charleston its bad.  Lets hope it doesnt but we know NCAA isn't exactly quick.  Hello Shabazz and UCLA still.

Again I have no issue with ineligible problems, it happens. Alternitive is go after "Norm kids". While I except that these things happen, I can understand why people coming off of what happened last season would be concerned by "NCAA looking into eligibilty" is mentioned. Why wouldn't people be concerned? Why would you just assume everything is ok? Obviously it is not at the moment. Will everything be cleared up? Hopefully. Would you bet your house on it? Why would you?
