Did a quick scan (was looking for a flight myself) and there was a flight out of Laguardia landing in Charleston at 4:00.

Excellent news as we certainly could use another shooter to open up the floor.  Though I haven't seen Marco but for the inter-squad game- I understand he is a pretty good passer as well.

Great news. I wouldve liked him to be a sophomore but at this point we need another shooter and ready now player.

I believe that is probably going to be the case and is why Gift is redshirting because IF Orlando gets the standard 2 years and Gift redshirts SJU technically has NO scholarship openings for next year (All 13 scholarship players this year would have eligibility to return next year.) 

I think Orlando will be declared a Senior in eligibility and that is where at least 1 scholarship will open for next season.

At this point I just want to know Sanchez can play at all this season.

After this tourny we have cupcakes. Assuming Sanchez gets cleared ,hes going to really help us in BE compitition. Im under the impression he has been practicing w the team which is helping him and the teammates. Unlike last year, we can have really productive practices and have had intersquad srimmages.
